This video show a little more of the WM+ accuracy.

Overall, they all seem to do the same thing, just use different means to do 'em. WM+ relies on motion sensors, which is pretty accurate and doesn't require the system to "see" the controller; PMC is probably the most accurate, but requires the camera to see the controller; and MS's tech is marginally accurate, but probably has a larger system overhead. All have their advantages and disadvantages, but the software is what'll really decide the winner, and Nintendo seems to have the advantage of being first out of the gate, so we'll see.

  4. yeah the thing about project natal is the accuracy of the camera. Can u playh in the dark? What if my cat or dog jumps in the way? I am very skeptical about natal. I will stick to WiiMotion+ unless Sony blows me away

  5. The ps3 motion controller and the wiimotion plus are identical. The "PMC" can have other fun applications specifically for the eyetoy...but when it comes real games...its the same. The only way it could truly top the wiimotion....is if it had a joystick. That is the one mistake nintendo made.

in order to play a game with two motion controllers on the wii...you would need two wiimotes...but then you'd be limited to a pad for movement..not terrible..but you sacrifice analog control for true motion gaming. If i were nintendo...i'd start replacing the current nunchucks with new ones that have wiimotion technology built in already and sell it for an extra $10.

if sony sells these in pairs..and gives one of them a joystick...then it would be considered better....as far as i know...it doesnt even have a dpad yet...lets hope they throw that in at the very least.

Cant really comment on Microsoft...the technology looks great. But i'd rather see how it does in a real game setting...not a tech demo....they should have had someone apply the technology to a few games already out...just to show how it could work in the real world.

  7. I call bullshit on this natal. They weren't even that optimistic when they announced the Wii. I'm sure they're INTENDING it to work like that, but there's no way in hell it's actually going to.

ps3 motion is usless for hardcore pesision fps as is x360s natal

yet wiis controls imursive and persise for fps analog and wiimote = perfect

  10. Natal looked the most innovative and seems very impressive right now...but lets wait until we see it in some hardcore gaming environment...lets say I am playing BB how does it know if I am passing shooting or going for a long shot...PS3...potential but unfinished, probably trying to work out how not to get sued by Nintendo. I think WM+ with the balance board and Ubisoft camera is a lethal combo and more accurate than MS & PS3...though I absolutely loved the way both acted like this is what they had planned for years don't think we would have seen either this soon if Nintendo didn't show WM+ last year.
